My Mission

At Happy Paws & Sofa Snores, my mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching home-from-home environment where every dog is treated with kindness, respect, and understanding. I am a fully licensed (25/00351) and insured dog daycare and boarding service, committed to the highest standards of care, safety, and professionalism.

I use only force-free, ethical, and evidence-based methods in all aspects of my care. This means I do not use punishment, intimidation, aversive tools, or fear-based handling. Instead, I focus on positive reinforcement, gentle guidance, and meeting each dog’s individual emotional and physical needs.

I believe that dogs thrive when they feel secure, listened to, and respected. 

My approach prioritises:

• Low-stress handling and calm routines
• Safe, supervised socialisation suited to each dog
• Clear communication and consistency
• Choice, enrichment, and appropriate rest
• Compassionate care tailored to every personality

Above all, I treat every dog as a valued individual and a member of my extended family. My goal is not just happy dogs, but confident, relaxed dogs who feel safe, understood, and loved while in my care.
