At Happy Paws & Sofa Snores, I always strive to provide a fun, calm and safe environment for all my  guests.

To accommodate all my clients, by confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

· All dogs must be spayed/neutered (no exceptions).

· All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date on required vaccinations (proof is required).

· All dogs must be up to date with appropriate flea and parasite treatments

· All dogs must be well-socialised and non-aggressive towards people and other dogs.

I reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that displays aggressive or unsafe behaviour.

2. MEET AND GREET & TRIAL STAY

A meet and greet is required before any booking to assess suitability for group daycare and/or boarding.

An overnight trial stay must be completed prior to any longer boarding arrangements.

If your dog does not adapt well during these assessments, I may recommend alternative care options.

3. HEALTH AND SAFETY

Dogs must arrive in good health, free from contagious illnesses, parasites, or injuries.

If your dog becomes ill or injured during their stay, I will contact you immediately.

In case of an emergency, I will seek veterinary care from your nominated vet (or my on-call vet if yours is unavailable).

You are responsible for any veterinary costs incurred during your dog’s stay.

4. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT

I prioritise a safe, stress-free environment.

Dogs showing persistent, excessive barking, destructive behaviour, or aggression may be removed from group play and/or arrangements made to be sent home early.

I may refuse future bookings if your dog is deemed unsuitable for group care.

5. LIABILLITY

While every care is taken to ensure your dog’s safety, Happy Paws & Sofa Snores cannot be held liable for illness, injury, loss, or death of your dog while in my care, except in cases of proven negligence.

You accept the normal risks associated with dog play and interaction.

6. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

6.1 Daycare

Payment Terms: 

● Balance paid in full at time of booking

Cancellation Window:

● Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled booking.

Late Cancellations:

● If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled time, 50% of the booking fee will be charged, and a refund for the difference processed.

● If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the full fee for the scheduled booking will be charged and no refund will be processed.

No-Show Policy:

● If I am collecting your dog for daycare and I am unable to gain access to your dog due to circumstances beyond my control (e.g., no key left, gate locked), the full fee for the scheduled booking will be charged.

Emergency Cancellations:

● I understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible. I will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and may waive cancellation fees at my discretion.

Refunds:

● Refunds for cancelled services will be processed within 5-7 business days or will be credited towards future services with agreement.

How to Cancel:

● Cancellations can be made via phone, WhatsApp or email. Please ensure you receive a confirmation of your cancellation.

6.2 Boarding

Payment Terms: 

· Non-refundable 25% deposit at time of booking

· Balance paid 14 days before booking start date

Cancellation Window:

● Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled booking.

Late Cancellations:

● If a booking is cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled time, 25% of the outstanding booking fee will be charged.

● If a booking is cancelled within 13 days of the scheduled time, 50% of the booking fee will be charged and a refund for the difference processed.

● If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled time, the full fee for the scheduled booking will be charged and no refund will be processed.

Emergency Cancellations:
